My friend asked me why so many Americans get run over by trains while in their cars, compared to other countries.

My answer was, it's because as compared to the people of other countries, most Americans have less experience around trains, and they are more used to driving.
To a european, a train is to be respected.
To an American, a train is just another vehicle, while not understanding that it isnt.
That's the problem in America.

Two blondes were walking through the woods and they came to some tracks.

Why do your friends ask you all these strange questions? I seriously don't think Americans in cars get hit by trains more than in other countries.

We've had some bad train vs car accidents at crossings. It leads to discussions about improving rail crossing security. A lot of them are unmonitored and in this day and age that shouldn't be an issue.
