I can't help but think this is conditioning to make us think this stuff is lawful. So we accept constant monitoring.

I just find it slightly creepy that the CIA has some ability to peep on people where ever they go or whatever they do, including them peeping on the bored people that are just surfing for pron on the internet. If they don't do anything with it (other than perhaps get their own rocks off from watching people), I guess it isn't the worst thing but I know when I worked at a local casino who had the ability to tap into phone lines both legally and illegally they "accidentally" started illegally tapping some of their employee lines, tried to either blackmail/sue/etc. some of the employees who they got dirt off of, and they got into a heap of trouble themselves when some of these employees got lawyers and the lawyers found out that they didn't have the authorization to tap their phone lines (even if the casino is on "tribal lands") and the fact they they were trying to use it to blackmail employees didn't help either.

As a former consultant working on a military base, I'm use to considering any phone line tapped and every room potentially having hidden cameras so it isn't as scary to me as it might be for others. Big Bother is always there, even if it isn't always all that obvious.

When you're asleep (not in "spirit") you generally have some form of possession going on to make you not see reality for what it is. I'm not saying "you got a murdering demon inside you" I'm saying you have a process inside you that watches you and generally guides you in such a way as to manipulate your perception.

I'd be lying if I said "this is okay everyone is doing it" it's not, there's a cost and generally it's not the first world that pays the price hence the wars (blood sacrifices) to maintain your standard of living. However, understand that it's a perpetual thing and the more oppressive they get and the more processes they use (demons basically) the worse it's going to be for everyone. By worse I mean...lots of sacrifices to feed the beast. If you're okay with that...there's nothing really to say at that point.

I can do fine without the "reality" guidance, and in many ways I feel the control mechanisms are subsiding, waning.
Some People are becoming more attuned and recognizing outside forces.

That would be a fair assessment.
