Quote:Wikileaks: GMO conspiracy reaches highest levels of US Government

Recent Wikileaks cables are typically associated with information leaks related to U.S. war strategy, and foreign policy, which has led some people to conclude that leaked information of this nature is a possible threat to national security.

But in this case, Wikileaks cables leaked information regarding global food policy as it relates to U.S. officials — in the highest levels of government — that involves a conspiracy with Monsanto to force the global sale and use of genetically-modified foods.

13.gif Well, well, well. Can of worms anyone? This is some huge news. It brought to light my own suspicions that the government and certain corporate entities are in bed with each other on a level that would be viewed by the average parson as treason against the people who put them in office.

Needless to say, this is going to be quite embarrassing for a few people.

Look for the "off with his head" campaign to resurge in the media regarding founder Assange as they attempt to spin this.

Indian farmers are committing suicide over after using genetically modified crops..

Quote: "The authorities had a vested interest in promoting this new biotechnology. Desperate to escape the grinding poverty of the post-independence years, the Indian government had agreed to allow new bio-tech giants, such as the U.S. market-leader Monsanto, to sell their new seed creations.

Yes and Monsanto doesn't care. In fact they probably planned it that way. I recall a study done in China on GM rice, claims were they'd double production and lower costs, turned out to be true...for the first year. Then the crops began deteriorating, yield by year four was half what it was before the GM crop and by year seven the soil produced nothing. No crop will grow there where the GM rice was planted. This study disappeared off the net about two days afte I read it.

That's the smart thing to do, I always want them later and spend way more time searching than it would have taken to simply save them chuckle.gif

How do i usually put it?
Something like: "The U.S. is not a Country, it is a Corporation"

heh heh

Tomorrow: The World is not a populated planet made up of nations and countries,,,

it is a Corporation"

A starving Corporation?

heh heh

Well, woe to evil then.

Haha, "conspiracies"...

Don't know about Afghanistan, but Monsanto kinda wrote
Iraq's new agri-laws, didn't they?

Check out aftermaths of coloured "revolutions" regarding GMO business...
What will follow the "Jasmine" (that what they call it?) one?

Here in the EU, they get (/are let) in by a million small cuts in the defences.
BASF's Monsanto-patented potato already here, but of course only as livestock fodder.
Practically all non-ecological, industrial pork and beef are being fed Monsanto's
or Pioneer's GM fodder.
Field testing of different GM grains going on all over. Even trees.

GM Sugar Beet for European use the next big little move...

And so on etc etc etc

What to do?
Grow your own,
but put an air-tight glass dome over it?

Bastards.
Towards the end there, people are going to be pretty angry at them.
