This may be an opportunity for Finnish tourism. The new climate could make Finland the location of choice for all those French and German tourists instead of the Rivera.

You don't have to thank me for pointing that out.

Last week in Seattle, I saw 2 separate flocks of Canadian geese flying due north instead of south. Not normal.

Been an odd winter here too, early and lots of snow, then rained all day today. Seems the Elders on the reserves say that was winter. We'll see.

The Indians here got a new Chief,,,

The tribe asked him what kinda winter it would be,,,

not sure what to say but knowing he was supposed to know he said cold,,,

the tribe asked him if they should cut extra wood,,,

he decided just in case,,,so he said yes cut more wood,,,

later on he decided to call the National Weather Agency,,,

They told him it was to be a cold winter,,,

The tribe asked him if they had enough wood,,,

he decided since it was going to be cold,,,he said cut more,,,

later on he decided to call the Nation Weather Agency again,,,

and asked,,,"are you sure it is going to be cold???",,,

they said,,,it is going to a very very cold winter worse ever,,,

the Chief asked,,,"how can you be so sure???",,,

they said,,,"every year we watch the Indians",,,

"AND THEY ARE CUTTING FEKKING WOOD LIKE MADMEN"...

Speaking of queens, I've had honeybees for two years and this last summer they did exceptionally well. Not my own bees, I just provide the pasture but I call them mine. I'd like to learn a little more before I get a nuc of my own. But to stay a bit on track, it was a good year for honeybees here hi5.gif

A bee guy wanted to put his bees in my back yard but before I could say yes he put them in down the road. We have bees all over here. Bees like me. I let them walk all over me and I rarely get stung. They don't like some people. Don't know why.
