Heres another golden age fantasy magazine with fantastic cover art,i mean look at it,shes a cosmic super hero space goddesss from the stars, ten thousand miles tall, floating in a void while holding a planet in her hand and against her breast, while watching giant rockets blasting off from the surface of an alien world...

We've lost a fine Canadian artist....RIP Kenojuak. The art guild I belong to had two members visit her just 5 years ago on Baffin Island, where they arrived uninvited and were welcomed in and treated as family.

Here's a slideshow of some of her work.

Knowing the history of a saying/cliche certainly helps to put it into perspective. Thanks.

I wonder if one of these lovely witches will ever fly over my house while looking for me some enchanted evening?

Probably about a trillion to one they never will, but,in the strange reality of our invisible quantum universe, its still possible they could (*-*)

Don't worry about keeping this thread alive because I'm not married to it. Anyway, you were posting great stuff and seem somewhat obsessed with this now. Just saying.

Some people might not be aware that theres a woman in this famous and priceless painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and she, mary,is on the right side of christ,no pun intended, although many people disagree, that person looks very female to my eyes and mind...

This painting is 15ft tall and 30ft wide...
