Quote:"Nuclear Regulation Authority said the cascading series of radioactive water leaks from the Fukushima plant is approaching a worst case scenario."

"We cannot waste even a minute," he said. "This is what we have been fearing."

This comment from another article was VERY UNSETTLING:
Quote:"NRA Chairman Shunichi Tanaka likened the stricken nuclear plant to a house of horrors at an amusement park. "I don't know if describing it this way is appropriate, but it's like a haunted house and, as I've said, mishaps keep happening one after the other," he told reporters. "We have to look into how we can reduce the risks and how to prevent it from becoming a fatal or serious incident."

uhoh.gif It looks like this thing is so out of control the Fukushima operator is pleading for international help as radiation crisis deepens!

I posted this outside the Fukushima thread and will merge it after it's run it's course. It looks as if this crisis is about to get all kinds of epic death if it's not stopped soon.
For Japan to plead for help really is indicative of worst case scenario. They are coming to terms their cultural "we'll handle this, thank you very much" is not stopping this,
This could quickly become the mother of all disasters.

If the authorities even start admitting the magnitude of this disaster it's beyond worst case.

In cartoony laymen's terms at the site, THIS times a possible 6 reactors

İmage

is sitting on top of this

İmage

Plus all the rods at that have exploded into the atmosphere and the others that still sit precariously at the site. Meanwhile water is pumped into what remains, in an attempt to keep it cool after 2 and a half years! steam is still rising from the site. What Part of We're ƒükkêd does everyone not understand. The Plant is sinking and will probably fall into the sea, all it needs is a nudge of a quake to let it fall.

Look at this Picture

That's one of many busted open uranium pellets! at the site. many of which exploded with reactor 3.

They fit into rods like this

here is a picture of flying debris from the exploded reactor number 3

The worst case scenario is just like described above.

It means Tokyo and the surrounding area will need to be evacuated. That's about 40 million people.

It also means other Japanese nuclear plants might need to be abandoned. So we'll see this scenario repeated over and over again.

Dr. Helen Caldicott, M.D., says Fukushima is orders of magnitude worse than Chernobyl. IOW, 10 or 100 times worse.

She points out a book published by the NY Academy of Sciences that is a translation of 100+ studies done by the Russians regarding Chernobyl. According to her reading of the book, there have been nearly a million people killed so far by Chernobyl.

This accident gets added to our exposure from Chernobyl. In other words it could be the tipping point for many.

It's going to kill much of the marine life in the Pacific, as well as hundreds of millions of people...slowly. Expect to see lots of heart attacks, lowered immune systems, miscarriages, deformities and cancer across the globe.

It will blow up again. Either one of the buildings collapses from too much water or a chain reaction starts from trying to remove the 1,300 bent, melted, rusted fuel rods manually. The chain reaction will cause an explosion.

Either way a worst case scenario is coming. No doubt.

Pray for me. hug.gif

That goes back to what you said about their pride and not asking for help.

They are kinda crazy/dumb I mean they did attack pearl harbor you would have to be insane to do that.

When it comes to a situation like this, it's far better to put cultural things aside and let common sense rule.
Radiation doesn't give a damn about culture.

It's a total nightmare. The international community should have been on this from day one. Insanity. gaah.gif

I warned everyone over the years to get away from nuclear power due to earthquakes and tsunami's and yet no now wanted to listen, now everyone has to pay the price for not listening to those with great gifts of the mind! They need to close off the port or harbor what ever is around fukushima, start mass producing graphene nets to start filtering contaminants form the ocean water, start an international group that is always assessing the situation and preparing proper maintenance and construction bots to begin as a close global cooperation! The aliens already invaded and past on their knowledge over the internet warning you of what would come, from 8.0 earthquakes in Siberia, to meteors hitting Russia last year, to a video i created two weeks foretelling the mass gun buying spree we saw after the sandy hook steal your gun rights problem we had last year! i have been predicting and calling out stuff like this all my life and look at what happens to the world when it chooses to not listen to one person! Kudos for the ignorance, now the world pays the price for the ignorance!

Aren't they trying to create a wall of ice to contain it? I wonder if they (nuclear gurus) can figure out a way to contain it completely and for the foreseeable future?
