According to what is called a "P-code" on the carton, the eggs were laid and collected January 15, 2018. Their "Best by" date was August 18th. They were organic eggs. By the time they were purchased, I'd pretty much stopped making protein shakes. So they sat in the fridge unused.
Negative ion generating disks were placed above and below the carton which is why they have lasted so long. Two or three disks initially and then a total of five in the last couple of months.
The first one was cracked up two days ago. The yoke stood up, and there was zero odor. Down the hatch it went. Usually an old egg can smell really bad.
Same thing yesterday. Shot a video but the sound was not adequate to hear. So we made another one today. The gal who shot it says she will email it to me tonight after she gets other Christmas preparations done. We'll see if that happens. The video also plugs my products, although not a lot. So you might need to go to YouTube to see it when it is up.
But I wanted you to know one of the benefits of negative oxygen ions.
