Based on the number of "death to America!" rally's over the past twenty years or so, and the fact Israelis don't beat themselves in the head with stones, or cast stones at each other, I'm going with Israel.

if i was American i would choose Israel..

you (no one in particluar) cant blame the ME for disliking the US.. imagine if America had the ME messing with its politics in individual American states for decades and then waging wars of "freedom" in some states there, that were so ilegal and uncalled for.. i have no doubt Americans would condemn those arab countries daily too..

you reap what you sow..

Honestly, I feel safer with a beer.
I can score aforementioned beverage in Israel far easier than Iran.
lol.gif See how damn easy that is if you take politics out of the equation?

Like Shadow I've not visited those countries so it's difficult to say. Feeling safe is relative and subjective. When I traveled from Hungary to Austria I have to say I felt way unsafer going west over the border. 13.gif

The western society all of a sudden felt very cold and hard after 4 weeks in Hungary. This was in the 80s though, things might have evened out, I don't know. I hope not as a lot of these things have to do with the mentality of the people who live there.

I'd rather visit Iran than Israel if I have to choose.

iran would be interesting to visit.. such an amazing history.. ive had clients over the years that were females from Iran, and boy they were smart, successful and very cool.. i did their hair.. they have to cover up in Iran but when they come to our countries they dont.. they said that when they are at home over there they dont need to wear any head coverings.. i went out clubbing with them a few times.. lots of fun for a repressed muslim country... ahem.. 13.gif

moral of the story is people are people, regardless of where they live..

Oh hell no I'm not interested in going to Saudi Arabia those fuckers.

Check out this chick that went to Iran to teach Iranian women to surf beercheer.gif

When Irishwoman Easkey Britton climbed onto a surfboard on a beach in Iran, the whole of the local village turned out to watch.

"They were just so friendly and so curious - they hadn't seen surfing before," she said.

As they got on with their surfing in the sea close to Chabahar, southern Iran, last September, a police car pulled up and they grew more concerned.

But there was no need.

"The police were just checking we were okay. They were worried about the rocks on the beach and whether we knew about them."

Easkey travelled to southern Iran last September with Marion, who is French. It was a journey that transformed the women's view of the country.

"We headed off to this Islamic Republic as two women looking for waves," she said.

It seemed a little bizarre and they had a few preconceptions that were quickly squashed.

"The moment we landed, people were incredibly welcoming and Iran has an amazing heritage. Yes, as women we had to have our heads covered and it was incredibly hot."
