Quote:Zambian locals ran away in terror when they saw a strange human-like figure appear in the clouds above a shopping centre.
Photographs show a large humanoid head and torso, tailing into the sky and it is thought to have measured more than 100 metres (330ft) long.

This is beyond strange, I've never seen a cloud I would describe as menacing until now.

I say it's fake.

Just life a year or two ago people were using apps on their phones to fake ufo pics, this one was faked.

Now, if there were several sources of pics of this thing from different angles then I would be more inclined to believe it.

Yup. One more pic from the same person, showing the same "thing" that is in the same shape/position. It was added to the pics like a stencil.

I would LOVE for something like this to be real just one time, but it never is. The only reality of these things is that it makes CT folks looks like buffoons for even giving it a second thought. Realistically, this would have been all over the news and there would have been tons of pics of it from all the people that saw it. Not only that, cellphone cameras become video cameras with the touch of a finger. Are you telling me that the person that took the pic and waited long enough for it to move didn't think to tap that button on his screen to video the thing?

Oh, that's right, the app can't implant images into videos.

I know, I sound like an ass. I'm just sick of hoaxes and I think most of them are started just to discredit CS people.

Strange cloud shaped as a human was apprently spotted in Kitwe, Zambia (Picture: CEN)

The King of Bullsh*t News
https://www.buzzfeed.com/alanwhite/centr....krdB1G132 (oh the irony)

Quote:In recent years, CEN has become one of the Western media’s primary sources of tantalising and attention-grabbing stories. They’re often bizarre, salacious, gruesome, or ideally all three: If you’ve read a story about someone in a strange country cutting off their own penis, the chances are it came from CEN.

The firm’s business model, like that of many other news agencies, is to sell a regular stream of stories and pictures to other media companies, which publish them under the bylines of their own reporters. In CEN’s case, these include a string of stories from relatively remote parts of China, India, Russia, and other non-Western countries. They tend to depict the inhabitants of those countries as barbaric, sex-crazed, or just plain weird. And often they are inaccurate or downright false.

I don't have PS any more, but I bet that if one of you PS savy folks took the image from one pic and turned it a little and adjusted the size it will perfectly overlay with the other. Kind of weird for a fluidly moving thing that would appear to be flowing in the clouds.
