A new AG could theoretically take over the Mueller investigation.
It's obvious Mueller intends to drag this out as long as possible to detract from the accomplishments of this president and protect his GF Comey.

But a new AG would have to go through a confirmation hearing in the Senate, and you know they'll refuse all nominations aside from Muller or Eric Holder.
