This, by far:

Kept me occupied all summer long, all through my childhood. :)

(Photo from 1 generation earlier.
Cat belonged to Gramps & Grandma - Dad put him onboard &
took the picture, late 1930's/early 40's. The beloved sailing model-ship
still in tip-top shape at our family summer cabin. No kids around to
use it anymore, though.)

only mine was green with a heavy cast-iron steering wheel.
Loved it to bits; used it up.

Other than that, it was mostly

Ha haa haaa so true we're still finding those multi colored little plastic pegs like twenty years after our last lite brite broke lmfao and some of them are probably still inside the stomachs of our cat and dog like i thought i noticed strange colors emanating from their mouths in the dark whenever they meow and bark Ha haa haaa (*-*)

Nice childhood toy memory now i clearly remember playing with those cool battling robots and its really amazing how the more retro vintage toys we remember the more of them we keep remembering and like just between Kenner and Hasbro and Mattel there must have been literally thousands of different toys and games and many of them are still being manufactured and sold and played with even now (*-*)

Lego.. I played with Lego from the minute i woke up. I was still playing with Lego at 13. The coolest thing is my mum kept all my Lego and now i get to play it with my nephew. Love it.

i loved connect 4, still do.

i had a similar Chinese checkers game to that one posted.

domino express was pretty popular too.
