Oh I haven't raved about our bacon tomato soup yet. We both had good recipes when we got together, but combining them...OMG! Outrageous!

We had a young friend over one night years ago, he had some stomach issues and hadn't been able to eat for some time, or so he said. I heated him some soup and a BLT sammich and he said it was the best goddamn meal he ever had. chuckle.gif

Actually yes, I have a herb planter and cilantro is always one of the herbs I plant and add to my salsa. Good catch MAK, thanks!

Growing cilantro is easy, but too much tastes like soap. 13.gif

I think you just pinned down what made my salsa so good and it isn't home canned tomatoes though I thought it was ( though they DO make a difference). Thank you! cheers.gif

Yes, it's a difficult herb to learn how to use in combination with other ingredients. Well gotta scoot now, so I hope we can continue this later. Have a great day all.

lmao.gifhug.gif

Now you know never to ask a woman that . Heh . I only eat once a day now. I don't even get that hungry ,and I do the bike when my knee and hip don't hurt too much . I actually do not weigh myself . Not for years. I used to freak over a pound ,but I still wear a size five American . I wore a size three until I was about 35 . When I did martial arts every day ,I weighed a lot less, but I stopped weighing myself about 20 years ago .

Same here! I haven't weighed myself in years, I don't see the point. If you can't fit into your fave jeans your ass got too big. No wait, that's not entirely true, I weighed myself at my son's place a couple of months back. I was surprised to see I was the same as in junior high. blonde.gif

But I'm pretty active and care about what I eat. I walk or ride the bike everywhere. hi5.gif

Between working on and ambulance for so many years, and all the martial arts I've done ,I have so many old injuries.
I used to be able to bend over backwards and touch my nose to the floor ,now I'm lucky if I can walk up and down stairs without being in extreme pain .
I've even broken my neck . I have so many injuries. My mom used to say," you do know you will be a cripple by the time Youre 40,right ?" ....and she was right.
I still do some stuff, and walking ,but I cant work out like I used to . I have no cartilage left ,and tons of injury arthritis .

Ouch! I'm sorry to hear that. patpat.gif

Totally.

I have burns on my hands and arms all the time from cooking. I don't even feel it happen anymore, just notice a blister the next day. lol. Egg white I find works the best for such injuries. I also grow aloe vera and use it all the time, not just for the burns.
