I was listening to an interview with a medical doctor on the radio the other day and he says that we all need vitamin D to help balance out the lack of sunlight. There is a discrepancy of just how much an adult should take per day, but he suggests 1,000 units per day, whereas 4,000 units per day is considered safe. It's just that I don't like taking pills, so this is a problem, unless I eat enormous amounts of sardines.
