I've been scraping by since 05' and still don't have a dollar to my name! I think it's time for some change in this country from the assholes that have ruined it!

Well at least you're not alone, not that it's any consolation. It's a pretty sad state of affairs. Situation is even worse in some places here in Europe. I doubt we'll ever see things go back to what they were.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

according to the latest statistics youth unemployment in the uk is about to fall below nine hundred thousand. This source of information came from the BBC...

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

At least the article didn't use the term "unexpected".

Usually when liberals write about yet another predictable Obama failure they say the unemployment rate is "unexpected high" the rate of job creation, business growth, or amount of tax receipts is "unexpected low".

Obama is driving the economy into the ground like a kamikaze dive bomber. What did people think would happen???

If you weren't so selfish and shared your crack and pot with the rest of us, we would be as complacent about Obama's failures as you are (and we would be able to tolerate listening to the lies and sniveling from the MSM).drinking.gif

Obama is a train wreck but i don't think applying lib/con labels is even relevant anymore. They're all corporatists now.

Hey....

I thought Obama was going to save us all.

Instead of focusing on jobs and the economy, he is focusing on taking yet MORE rights from us.

Think about that...

Let's see...

We've made education a non-priority, have one of the highest drop-out rates in the world, no "trades" classes offered in most schools anymore so kids can at least learn something that's useful in the outside world, and those that do go on to college are either taking liberal arts degrees or business administration. Engineering and science degrees are at an all-time low among our students; the ones studying these degrees are overwhelmingly foreign nationals.

And we're still wondering why youth unemployment is going through the roof?

Its the same here in NZ , people leaving to go to Aussie get Double the wages over there
But I recon it's because nowdays kids dont want get a trade , they go into university where they churn out thousands of kids with great diplomas and degrees but there only a few jobs fer egg heads .

Now in CH CH we have lost all of the CBD and thousands of houses , miles and miles of roads , sewer lines, stormwater drainage , bridges to be repaired
suburban shopping centers flattened all needs rebuilding

NOW heres the thing WE cant get builders , drainlayers, roofers, surveyers, engineers, all that type of workers . So now theres 30,000 workers needed ! and they are gladly coming from Ireland Canada Great Britain and some from USA and Indnesia

You just gotta get out there and make the money. Everyone is so brainwashed that they have to work for someone else, it's not even comical.

I was mowing lawns and weeding gardens for neighbors at the age of 10. I would make about $2.00/hr.

When I was 16, my Mother gave me a squeegee and a bucket and said, clean the windows and I will pay you $60.00. O.O WHAT?! REALLY?!

Needless to say, it took all weekend to do it. We lived in a 2 story Victorian style house built in the 30's. Half french pane windows and half bay windows. It was a bitch. Especially since my Mother had high standards because her Father was a US ARMY Drill Instructor.

Anyway. After I completed the job, she paid me and I was like..... ğkking AY!!

Then I thought to myself, I says, "Self... I wonder how many other people would pay me $60.00 to clean their windows..."

So, I took $30.00 and got my own stuff and went knocking door to door in my neighborhood. My little brother followed behind with his lawn mower.

About one out of every 4 households said "SURE!".

I was making BANK back then. I still do this for a living to this day. Still make good money when it is the season.

You just have to have initiative and imagination and anything is possible. Sit on your ass all day, waiting for a welfare check... You limit yourself... then people complain about it... THAT is comical.

You'll never get far in life if all you want to do it work for someone else and shuck all that responsibility of being your own boss and self employed, if you're stupid, you're lazy and unmotivated and have no self initiative, you keep blaming everyone else, and you keep waiting for someone else to fix your issues and problems for you (i.e. make you a sweet job, cut you a break, etc.), you're irresponsible, etc.

You can make as much money as you want in this country if you really wanted to and took the self initiative to do it for yourself, yourself. Many are proving this every day. Yet many others blew off their high school education, skipped school, played video games instead of doing home work, watched tv instead reading a something knowledgeable, and now they don't know a damn thing and aren't even worth their weight in flesh and body parts. In fact, some people out there might be worth more dead than alive after amounting to nothing in their life. And now they have the gall to complain?

Add to this all those that started having kids while not being able to afford them, drug abuse and arrest history, bad credit, poor work history, etc., and you have someone that's going to have one miserable life. And yet they complain it's someone else's fault? I hear it all the time and have to laugh. Unreal.

Really, life can be great if YOU take control of yours and stop waiting and expecting others to fix your life for you.
