My old friend J von Bonez is back in the home town tonight. beercheer.gif

His new, climbing, Europe-touring softmetal band is on at half past 10 in
the Park. I want to see how he handled the switch from Gothenburg style
Metal to Poodle Rock

lmao.gif

...will he still carry the same pondus onstage..?
How do you even headbang to that crap?

pop2.gif

Can't stand the BS the band plays - can't wait to see old friend in successful
action. I hope they make mon€y too; that guy is worth it, if anybody.
Or maybe they're tougher and rawer live than in the studio..?

I can't see J staying in there for too long, unless the music gets less teenagey
and a loooooooot harder. But his personal skill on the bass is always enjoyable,
no matter what the genre.

Bloody interesting.

Dude

blink.gif

That was wayyyy too soft poodle music for me,
but bloody well and professionally performed.

Something tells me Mr Bonez won't thrive for
too long with that gang, unless they toughen up....

Will tell him your words next time we get together
for downtown coffee thumbsup.gif

So, the annual town festival week is over.

Will be so good to not have streets full of tourists
for another year yay.gif

...but it was kinda cool this year.
Loads of rather good bands, after all.
I had a nice time.

Women are friggin' acting weirder with me than
ever, though. blink.gif

I just can't seem to interpret personal nor social
signals anymore blink.gif

Thank the gods I didn't lose my cool nor make
an ass of myself.

Lovely, lovely Aphternoon Coffee downtown,
without being pushed into a corner by thousands
of drunken tourists (parents with sugar-pumped kids,
mostly, in the daytime) trying to act sober chuckle.gif

yay.gif Got my town back! yay.gif

:)

Tomorrow all hell breaks loose, though.
Media, rehearsals, studio, gigs, too many lyrics and
arrangements to learn - I'm a bit scared.

Gonna have to try and take it real easy, this one
summer evening of calm...phew, me lazy as heck.
Should study and work, but...nope.

When you get old enough you become concerned that thrashing will break something and death metal starts sounding less like music and more like the ex wife.

I can tell you the easiest way to pick up chicks and there will be absolutely no confusion about their signals.

No, I'm not talking about prostitutes... 13.gif

Wear a wedding band. Women can't resist a married man.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

Good points.

No... chuckle.gif not trying to pick anybody up...more like
getting approached and dumped in an undecipherable manner chuckle.gif
Not that I'd mind at all. Open for all sorts of shameless and indecent proposals.

Just as long as they mean absolutely nothing beyond the following sunrise.

And yup...back when I was a sperm truck driver with a toddler and a dog
in the other hand, 95% of all nice-lookin' females in town seemed to drool
over me all over the sidewalk. Oh, how times have changed chuckle.gif

I love working with Sister C K.

They pay me for this..?! blink.gif

chuckle.gif

It is effin' better than sex
to nail a harmony with her,
and know it gets stuck for posterity
on a hard disk (was gonna say "tape" chuckle.gif ).

Just...love.

The fact that she is not world famous
says more about the "industry"
than about her.

Honoured, I am.

(And she's beautiful, too. 12.gif )

...aaaaand on the other hand:

is it normal to feel this happy,

when you're:

- dirt poor
- uneducated
- sick
- old

and on your jolly lonesome?

yay.gif

I'm gonna siddoun on the balcony
and light up a phatty
after a looong workday
and just feel good puffpuffpass.gif

First real summer night of 2017, July 25/26th.
The world feels like a uterus around you outside.
Soft, warm, loving air smooches the face of anyone
walking the ancestors' land tonight :)

The North from its kindest side. cheers.gif

Well...it seems no better,
than that the Accidental Stoner,
who used to be so unhappy
and sceeeeered uhoh.gif

about loneliness

has finally learned
that all the goodies
are within self,
not somewhere out there,
not necessarily between self and others
- that comes as natural side effect, if wanted -
but right here
in my own heart.

yay.gif

Rejoice, Brothers and Sisters,
for we are free!

Freeeeeeeeeeee at last! lol.gif

[Disclaimer: Ask me again in November.
Things might change.

soon gone
- yet always near.]
