I prefer a book I can fall asleep with. The screen brightness on those kept me up, rather than relax me.

I must concur. I tried reading ebooks on my laptop, and the longer I read the more wired I felt. I'm an insomniac to begin with and that didn't help.

Hehh...for the first time in my life, I get to be a pure tourist
in the nation's capital for a few days. Only ever been here in
connection with work or other music or official business before.

Must say the National Museum kicks serious ass.

Very, very nice.
Informative, extensive, nicely displayed permanents, cool
specials...and quite thought provoking as well. Clearly,
those folks know what they are doing.

For the first time in history, I'll give something
5 doobie.gif doobie.gif doobie.gif doobie.gif doobie.gif out of 5.

Warmly recommended, if you ever happen to visit.
Nothing wrong with the building itself either.
Beautiful.

...and I must say I simply looove Akseli Gallen-Kallela's fresco paintings
in the entrance hall. A true master, he was.

That white bearded guy resembles Cynical, if he grew everything longer. Hair, beautiful hair.

Having a grrrreat time!

Played hundreds of gigs in the capital
at a whole lot of different venues over
the years, but never really noticed before,
how insanely beautiful the city really is.

Browsing pics on Google, it IS beautiful, Russian influence but has it's own vibe. Would love to visit in the summer, but it would cost a fortune :(
