Just got back last night.
I can't even begin to tell you
how goddang lovely it was
to spend a week in a European country
where "diversity" and "multiculture"
propaganda is totally absent.
The Croatian war trauma
- including the horrific shelling of Dubrovnik in 1991 -
may still linger...
...but the Croatians sure seemed awfully happy and relaxed,
compared to certain other Europeans.
Very, very interesting to take in the atmospheres of
big cities Split and Dubrovnik, smaller town Makarska and
seaside village/non-party-tourist heaven Podgora.
No jihadis, no beggars, no entitled African "war refugees".
No token hijabs and no absurdly foreign token ethnicities
in media, art and advertising.
Coolness, harmony, friendliness, relaxation.
A true vacation from our Nordic societal climate.
And I absolutely loved every second of it, as a humble guest.
Thinking of Hungary and Poland next.
So good to see people who feel they belong and aren't ashamed of belonging.
Puts a biiig biiig smile on my face.
