I have a good teacher but something is missing here. I can't seem to focus on working efficiently!

I used to create environments like a beast and model pokemon like nothing!

Idk if its a mental block or something. I mean I love what I do, it makes me happy to make cool stuff!

I use 3D Studio max mostly and learning the ropes of Z Brush.

Anyways, the morning is a bit groggy, no coffee yet and class ends soon.

Kobe Bryant and Pau Gassol, good tag team on offense, we get Steve Nash and Steve Blake to draw fouls and get Gassol on C, might them rebounds, and Kobe with his fadeaways, forget it man, we got dis, GO LAKERS!! #24!

With me, I have to have a set know what I'm doing and have a goal, story, characters etc. I can't just start something random. I gotta' have the vision first to realize it.

Well, depends on what you're doing of course, but I think you'll develop your own work flow the more stuff you produce. I agree with JR though, have a plan and a goal.

Godspeed.

I hope Gumby chimes in on this, he's a skilled 3D artist.

Yes Gumby rules the universe in that department.

I like to build model rockets, what works for me is my favorite Classic Rock Bands, and work on HVAC/R Systems.

Just some good ole music sets my mood and helps me focus.

Yup :)

That's me. I have to have an assignment and make a plan to motivate me. That's the reason I'm not a practicing artist.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
