been eating lots of salad everyday for the last 3 months. i add in chopped kale, shredded brocolli stalks, shredded beets, shredded cabbage and top it with hemp, chia and flax seeds. but as of now, i dont see anything in way of feeling great. i feel neutral -as i did before i started eating more healthy. shouldnt the body react more in a fantastic kind of feeling? or maybe its all hyped up. i only spend about 10 dollars every month on dressing and salad mix. blink.gif

Started a new fitness regimen, but gained 7 pounds in 3 days. Who was the dummy who said extra pies is good for you!?!  ;-)

PS. The salad dressing could have GMO soy or corn oil in it.

PPS. What is in the salad mix?

Read his final sentence - especially the last two words. You probably got too tired to make it that far since you're a vegan. Not enough red blood in your food. That red blood is the breakfast of champions.

I don't know about eating lots of salads every day, but I am just starting to change my diet and I am starting with oatmeal in the morning (that's it) and so far I notice a big positive difference, in that, I wasn't as hungry throughout the morning. Even at lunchtime I just munched on a granola bar and I could have taken or left eating that. So, YAY for oatmeal.

I am not a big salad eater, but I do like to eat some raw veggies (very few) but mostly I like to stir fry or add them to stews.

I eat a big bowl of berries with quark and kefir for breakfast and an omelette for lunch usually.
