Republican candidate 'body-slams' Guardian reporter in Montana
Quote:“He took me to the ground,” Jacobs said by phone from the back of an ambulance. “This is the strangest thing that has ever happened to me in reporting on politics.”

Jacobs subsequently reported the incident to the police. Gianforte’s campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Republican candidate charged with assault after 'body-slamming' Guardian reporter

Quote:Fox News reporter Alicia Acuna, field producer Faith Mangan and photographer Keith Railey witnessed the incident, according to an account published by foxnews.com. After Jacobs asked Gianforte his question, Acuna wrote, “Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him
“Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the man, as he moved on top the reporter and began yelling something to the effect of ‘I’m sick and tired of this!’ ... To be clear, at no point did any of us who witnessed this assault see Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte, who left the area after giving statements to local sheriff’s deputies.”

Politicians all over are losing their damn minds.

It must be the price you pay for being a fleshbag filled with shit.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

I bet it is.

Quote:“The nature of the injuries did not meet the statutory elements of felony assault.

So it looks worse in the media than it did to the sheriff.

As a centrist I'm totally disenfranchised with both parties and have zero respect for the media.
A lot of people are sharing my disdain.

Couldn't help but notice the side article saying he has ties to US - Sanctioned Russian companies - the propaganda default.
I want to start seeing evidence of this.
All I see is piss poor behavior and finger pointing.

Agreed.

I'd like to know what that reporter said to him to set him off like that.

Yes sir, we're getting about half... if that... the story as usual.
The media is so sensational and weaponized.

We are sick of them, we are sick of all the social justice bull shit, we are sick of all the crap they are shoving down out throats, we are sick of all of it.

That has worked for so long the only strategy the media and our political theater has is to keep repeating what they want us to believe Goebbels style.
The think tanks that we never see or hear anything about, the ones that dictate real policy; have never had to deal with a large percentage of educated, aware, politically awake population prior to now.
Certainly, collectively we've becoming quite the nuisance, and appropriate measures are already being taken in terms of suppression of truth, bolstering false narratives and marginalization of facts via spin.

Well it backfired AGAIN.

Montana Republican Wins Special U.S. House Race Despite Assault Charge

Quote:Republican Greg Gianforte overcame an election eve assault charge filed against him that sparked national attention, defeating Democrat Rob Quist in the race for Montana’s open U.S. House seat Thursday.

The result is a major disappointment for progressive activists who poured money into the campaign to help Quist, a banjo-playing songwriter and political newcomer, in a bid to notch a symbolically important win against President Donald Trump.

People have no faith in the establishment, and the establishment is in denial. I read a piece a couple days back where Hillary was bragging about beating Sanders and Trump. chuckle.gif
