A black student at Sacramento State University staged a fake lynching of two white people as part of an art project exploring racism.

Earlier this month, students at the public university campus saw two white people hanging from a tree with nooses around their necks. They were actors who had been hired by Christina Edwards, an artist and senior at the college.

“The purpose of this performance was to bring to light social injustices and the issue of inequality that impacts me and my community as a whole,” said Edwards, who is black, in a statement to local news.

How do you think that would fly if it were some skinhead that roped up a couple of black people that way?
All this does is serve up another heaping helping of racist, BS designed to keep blacks and whites divided, when we should be coming together for our own common good.

I'm 63. I don't recall any lynchings in my lifetime. Maybe there were a few when I was young.

But there have been multiple murders of white people in the last year from blacks going "Polar Bear Hunting" and the like. There is some evidence that Trayvon was a perpetrator of Polar Bear Hunting" before he punched Zimmerman.

"“The purpose of this performance was to bring to light social injustices and the issue of inequality that impacts me and my community as a whole,”"

So are we supposed to hire black actors to lie on sidewalks all over campus acting like they are dead with pools of blood under them?

Pray for me. hug.gif

It's exactly what many self proclaimed black leaders want as when there's no people or group to exploit then there's no money to be made. How is it that so many people think that allowing this behavior by black kids/people is any different than allowing white kids/people doing this in the past. I know it's NOT REAL like incidents in the past...but it doesn't help anyone and like you said it keeps people divided. Are white people here condemned to not be able to move on because blacks want to constantly remind us of things that they and none of us were a part of? Why then don't they go to Africa WHERE IT ALL STARTED and continues to this day AND punish their ancestors there? TPTB love this kind of crap as if we stay divided enough there will never be enough of a cohesive group of any color/s to fight against them.

A few years ago, a bad called Stuck Mojo had an excellent rant on the exact subject. The song was called an open letter to the Reverend Jesse Jackson:

Quote:We, the members of the Mojo family,
feel that your actions and rhetoric as a self professed leader
of the black community are in fact detrimental to the very
people you claim to represent.

We also feel that as a result you do much to undermine the well-being
and harmony of the United States as a whole. You kind of work for
the advancement of the black community and you speak from a position
that the black population cannot advance itself socially, politically
or economically because an immovable object, the white establishment,
forever blocks its path.

Yet you preach further support such as welfare and affirmative action
that put members of the population in a position of dependency and
reliance on the establishment.

You bask in the glow of the media spot light, you passionately decree
that racism and prejudice are alive today as they were four hundred
years ago, but does this do anything to reverse it's effect?

No one with the intelligence will deny that a great atrocity was committed
against the black race at the hands of white settlers of this country,
but a wound cannot heal if it is continuously re-opened.

That is to say, that it will heal but it will take much longer and the
scar it leaves will be grotesque and raise high on the skin.

A true leader leads by example, and the example you have shown is not one
of strength of character, self-reliance, commitment to excellence or
personal accountability.

It's these traits that are necessary to advance oneself as an individual
It is only as strong courageous and moral individuals that any race can
live the quality of life that it chooses.

We give our deepest respect to the true leaders:

Alan Keys, J.C. Watts, Tony Brown, and Dr. Walter Williams

Men who never deny their heritage but are proud to be first and
foremost a part of the human race

This is, sadly, as true now as when written back in the 90's, speaking volumes about the quality of or so called leaders on both sides of the aisle.
Like I said, we should be working together, and we have not advanced one bit since the 90's.
Sad part is, it's almost 2014 and we're still having this discussion because it works for those at the top to keep us busy with BS distraction while they do whatever they they feel is necessary to keep us divided.
If we were not kept in this perpetual state of chaos, who knows, we may start realizing what they are really doing to us, and how horrible the entire lot of creeps are than run this theater of illusion.
