Hi jb wave.gif I hope you are well. Yeah, if any severe health issues arise for either one of us, then we'd have no choice but to live near doctors/hospitals. So, that's why I am researching now in the hopes hubby and I (and maybe our daughter, that is, if she still wants to relocate to B.C. with us) can do this within a few years.

Here's another great idea, solar powered houseboat living with advanced compostable toilet system...so the thought here is to buy some off the grid land at waterfront and live in the houseboat during the spring/summer, then move it inland during the fall/winter for storage while we take off for Florida/Arizona for five months.

Expect more problems from nuclear power plants then , since the system is so scared of people living efficiently off the grid, typical dumbass decisions

Except for the top politicians' beloved investment object Talvivaara.
It can keep on leaking all the radioactive waste it wants...that's OK.

So far in my research, the zoning of the land is of the utmost importance; basically land not zoned for anything is 'freedom' to do what you want.
