When we read in Genesis the account of Creation, we risk imagining that God was a magician, with such a magic wand as to be able to do everything,” he said. “However, it was not like that. He created beings and left them to develop according to the internal laws that He gave each one, so that they would develop, and reach their fullness.”

The creation of the universe, Francis said, was not a singular event, but rather “went forward for centuries and centuries, millennia and millennia until it became what we know today.”http://www.newsweek.com/pope-franciss-re...ics-281115 nothing new in what he said,,it's what I was taught years ago bored.gif

One day the zoo-keeper noticed that the orangutan was reading two books - the Bible and Darwin's The Origin of Species. In surprise he asked the ape, "Why are you reading both those books"?

"Well," said the orangutang, "I just wanted to know if I was my brother's keeper or my keeper's brother."

Softy has been silently lurking once in a while

Hi Softy

I gleaned that photo off the internet
I do not know who took the photo or if any hi res is around

softy I think is having a hash out with some clown on a treasure forum

heh heh

The same guy i said " I've been a BAD Boy "

now , onto the subject at hand

Fine for believers , just keep the kool aid out of their hands

keep them from causing laws to be made

let them be , and MAKE them LET the rest of the world be .

they have had too much influence for way too long

we'd have to tear too much paper up and burn it to undo what they set up

fine if they live in their little world

not good when they try to make the whole world live in it with them .

Religious have that going for them
they think and believe they are RIGHT

and then PUSH their agenda into other peoples lives

BY FORCE at times

click those Ruby Reds and go back to Kansas

and this time

stay out of Oz .

I fight to keep the cool aid out of their hands ;;I was also taught that many years ago by my parents ;;it scares the bejesus out of me what the churches preach and teach today..seems the worst offenders are the ones preaching the prosperity doctrine today..rake in the money for their own personal gain.. and preach a phony baloney doctrine called the rapture which is one of the biggest lies preached today all for control of their members money
