Never thought I'd say this, but alcohol is not a really good remedy for long term depression. Yeah sure e few cold brews will wash the blues away, but I mean real clinical depression. Excessive use of alcohol will only make it worse in the long run. I recommend St. John's wort to everybody who's fighting depression.

except maybe,,

these two positions

1 . refuse to doubt ( it can stop you in your tracks )

2. Nothing " MATTERS ",,, but it doesn't " MATTER " ( because, small " MATTERS ", will become Monstrous if you dwell upon them,,, and if you do that,,, then,, take a,,, fukitol

That's pretty good - and true.

1. The doubt moment could be that split second that'll cost you your life when you start thinking...

2. Yeah, don't sweat the small stuff.

Laughter is the best medicine.

My mother's advice to me - to counteract all the depressing news and such in life - is to bring alittle comedy into my life, every day, so I will choose a comedy movie over all others, visit the good news websites, and come to this forum. After catching up on the mainstream news, it's a must.

You guys are a riot and good medicine.

Depressed? Try a natural remedy.

It ALWAYS cheers me up to kick a midget in the nuts.

I am not your carpet ride I am the sky
I am not your blowing wind, I am the lightning

Well, I don't know any midgets, so I go for a long run with my head phones on. But, I seldom find myself depressed to be honest. I still go running 4-5 days a week though. Need to burn off the carbs.

You're so right about the laughter. Without humor life would be depressing.

And you're part of the good medicine. cheers.gif

1,200 miles? And you think that is burning off your beer carbs?

Well, if it makes you feel better to believe that...
