If I was a judge and I was hearing an appeal case, regarding an existing ban on foie gras..

I would rule this way.

This isn't France, this is the united states, we run this country, France does not.
We have no obligation to accommodate foreign ways of life when it is in violation of our society.

With that said, the commercial production and sale of foie gras is animal cruelty and the ban will remain in effect.

That sentence would get you removed from the case as it shows you are biased.

It has nothing to do with who runs what country or France's way of life or any violations of society. Many people in this country want to eat foie gras and you do not have the right to tell them they can't because you feel it is cruel to animals. That amounts to you trying to do to them what you claim France is trying to do to the US.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

There is no law saying that the government cannot regulate restaurant, food and agriculture industries for animal welfare
