It's tragic sad2.gif Once in London me and my friends were talking to an American who was there studying economy. The homeless situation in general was brought up and he thought it was no problem, you just need to know what routes to take to avoid seeing them. blink.gif

my husband and I faced homelessness a few years ago..and we were both terribly ill at the time..it was the scariest point of our lives..his family and mine what is left of them didn't lift one finger to help us..my nephew cleaned out my condo and put my stuff in storage..he thought he was going to get our things..i had an old friend who found out our plight and helped us tremendously until we got back on our feet..we were able to pay her back..i don't know what we would have done damned.gif

Prep school douche bag, rich mommy and daddy, nothing going on upstairs.
The trifecta.
Same guy that asked her how it felt to be a part of Russia. wtf2.gif
I know why some Europeans have such a distaste for Muricans. You have to be mildly well off to fly across the Atlantic and spend time.
Wealth and intellect in youth seldom go hand in hand, ditto for adults, with the exception of those who made their own money as opposed to being born into it.

Well, homelessness isn't exactly a uniquely American thing. Yesterday I learned that my brother is moving, he got a job as a chaplain down south and is also going to run a home for the homeless. I think that is wonderful, but also sad that there is a need for it on an island in Finland with a population of 28 000.
