chuckle.gif Thankfully there are digital pics these days so she doesn't need to carry around a bunch of rolls of photo film.

Sold some of the crap on craigslist this morning

and lost my cell phone too

made money so i could spend it buying a new phone

damn

I had that phone for 6 years , THAT'S A RECORD

No one has a cell phone that long man .

I do and it has been dropped countless times and the rubber covering to the charging area was ripped off long ago, but it keeps going and going and going and... chuckle.gif

I've looked at the new phones several times but Bell just won't give me a good deal, so bleh.gif

İmage

BTW WR, I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to visit KB. It's slowing down now, I hope. I've also been invited for a job testing session today, so I'm brushing up on my grammar, math, spelling, Microsoft skills etc. My spacial reasonsing skills really suck bad...it's scary.

I did, however, take a gingseng pill, so I'm leaving it all to the pill.

yeah good luck with that US, sweetness..

a ginseng pill?? sounds interesting.. what does it do? make you alert?

im getting a new phone in a week or so.. its the cheapest Nokia Lumina.. the 520.. the one they made for poor people, that cant afford the good one.. but its looks fine for me, as i am on a prepaid.. i would like an iphone, but they are too much $$$, and i dont want to go on a plan for 2 years.. everyone i know that has an iphone has had problems with it.. you can hardly hear people on a call half the time.. not worth the $$$..

Ginseng works for me, it does 'wake up the old brain cells', so to speak. 13.gif

Well, I've been looking at the newfangled phones, but what stops me from diving in is having to pay for all the apps and extras...by the time I'm done the monthly bill will be downright unreasonable - so here I remain for now. You would not believe some of the looks I get from the young people when they see me texting on that old phone. damned.gif chuckle.gif

you wont need apps on your phone, really.. i have never downloaded one onto a phone.. and most of them are free anyway.. the thing with prepaid phones (in my country, im sure its the same there?) is that you pay your $100 for the phone and they arent the best phones, just earler models of the latest expensive ones that no one wants anymore, so they are still really good.. so then all you have is your monthly recharge fee.. depending on how you use your phone, that may only cost $30 a month.. im going to change my plan to free text and calls bettween 6pm and 6am.. so it works out pretty cheap.. and you arent locked into a long plan paying off a phone that ends up costing you over $1000.. how much is your phone costing you now? you are on a plan? or prepaid?

We buy prepaid phone time for about €10 a month and mainly for calling the US. You can get a prepaid any kind of arrangement from €3:90/month including 200 minutes of phone time.

My mom objected though, she said I can talk as much as I want for a fixed price per month.

It surprises me that she doesn't know I don't like to talk that much. CompARED TO HER. FUCKYEAH CAPS LOCK!

I'm no longer on any plan and only pay for texting and minimal long distance within Canada, so around $30 something per month. With the new fangled phones I will definitely want internet and he ability (app) to send pics to my computer...expensive proposition.

Thats cheap, octo.

Image apps are free. And most plans include internet time now, as everyone expects it. I dont think it will cost you that much. You will be surprised and liberated to get a new phone.
