It's always a good idea to spend some money on quality boots in my opinion. I'm cheap as hell in all other cases. chuckle.gif

I order stuff from here all the time, not shoes though. Not yet, but I'd like to, they have some nice boots pretty cheap.

wave.gif jb...I'm glad to read that you are up and about.

As for walking shoes/boots, the rule of thumb is to make sure your entire foot is supported well and extra cushioning never hurts either.

Oh, that's terrible. Did you fall from balancing problems or dizziness, or do you think it's your shoes?

I am sorry to hear that jb. So, will you have to use a support device from now on?

It must be difficult transitioning into using assistive devices like a walker. I just bought a back brace for when I do any type of lifting, which I shouldn't do in the first place.

hug.gif The back brace I bought is extremely light weight and breathable and the support is phenominally strong. I was advised not to lift anything moderately heavy at all, even with a back brace. But, will I heed the warning? Nope.

Morning Kritters hug.gif

I really like Merrells last pair I had lasted 6 or 7 years and I'm hard on footwear. Damn comfortable too. Bought a new pair before Amsterdam, I walked 8 or 9 hours somedays and never a problem.
