Quote:Apple can legitimately claim that it has permission to collect the data: near the end of the 15,200-word terms and conditions for its iTunes program, used to synchronise with iPhones, iPods and iPads, is an 86-word paragraph about "location-based services".

It says that "Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with application providers when you opt in to their location services."

Doesn't personally identify you until it's profitable for them to do so. No this isn't about spying on you, it's about them selling info on you and if you have no info anybody wants to purchase, well, you're just redundant.

gaah.gif I wouldn't have one if it were given to me, I've never been much on buying into hype.
My phone does everything it does with the major difference being they want 600 bucks for it, mine cost 100€, it's a no brainer. I don't trust Apple at all, I appreciate the OS greatly, but thats it.
The hardware is unimpressive and overpriced.

rofl.gif That would be great, but I'm certain some alphabet agency would just have to pay you a visit.

Hehheh...

It'll be one of the bestest riddances yet, when the old
Nokia (- affecting people!) meets the same fate as the
old idiot-box.
Not long now.
As soon as Prepaid gets outlawed, my phoning days
will be over.

Should we start training pigeons..?
