People can 69 in a 69 Camaro or any other 69 car and they probably have many times,i 69ed in a 77 in 85 (*-*)

Awesome heavy metal muscle car, from a time (60's and 70's) when they made real cars with real ball$ (horsepower)...

69 Z-28 Rally Sport Camero,,,

had a 302 engine,,,Holley Carb,,,Aluminum heads,,,

small block,,,destroked,,,best engine for Camero,,,

12 bolt rear end is stronger,,,

depending on engine,,,10 is ok,,,

big block will need 12,,,

think one of the SS Camero had 396 big block,,,

69 is the prettiest year,,,IMO,,,

Have Fun!!!...

of any engine,,,since big block SS Cremaro in 69,,,maybe

you already are set for the engine mounts,,,don't know about

front springs,,,you will need something for that heavy engine,,,

I always use 373 gear outback.

This is not the first high hp car that I have owned. I had an 87 IROC camaro that we(me and my dad) put a 454 we got out of an RV in it. We had to cut the firewall back and numerous other mods to make it fit in that engine bay. It was a unibody (not a solid frame it was in 3 sections) and because of that the torque literally twisted the frame and cracked the back glass.

Suffice to say motor mounts wont be a problem

As far as where to drive we have 2 dragstrips in central Florida........gas is too expensive to drive on the street

Oh,,,you are going to drag race it,,,OK,,,

yeah gas would be expensive on the street,,,

so would tickets,,,I know from first hand experience,,,

and I was wondering about the torque twisting the frame,,,

373 sounds good,,,I guess,,,never did much drag racing,,,

sounds like you know what you are doing...
