My first wife wasn't just one woman. Not sure how many were in there but I'm pretty sure damn near all of them were crazy as fuck.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

They both are still very young and are busy with raising their children. It may be that they are intimately connected now, but I think the proof will be in the pudding during their elderly years when the kids leave and menopause visits.

Ageing is not for sissies, nor marriages built on false ideals. But, I may be speaking from my generation where not much thought was put into choosing a life-time mate.

Interestingly, mostly women of my generation (baby boomers) are the ones initiating divorce after the kids leave.

Quote:Meanwhile, baby boomers are continuing to divorce at unprecedented rates. Bloomberg cites data from the Bowling Green’s National Center for Family & Marriage Research which shows that the divorce rate for 55- to 64-year-olds more than doubled from 1990 to 2012 while divorces for the over-65 crowd tripled.

I hope the upcoming generations have learned from our mistakes.

iagree.gif With govt ... If there is one thing that we learn from history, it's that our establishment never learns from history.
It's not the people, it's piss poor greedy so called "leaders" out to line their wallets that ruins everything for everyone, less themselves.
With people... who knows wtf chuckle.gif

With people, who knows, is right. I have also read an article whereby the millennials seem to have solved the divorce problem by not getting married in the first place. chuckle.gif
