Thanx for remembering this all important date (I dont think its even mentioned on the msn main page news yet?!) where and when millions of (mostly) young men sailed across the ocean strangers in a strange land to fight against evil and die for our freedoms and so they and future generations would not be burned and gassed and or transformed into lampshades and soap although the Russians would probably have eventually defeated Nazi Germany without American intervention...

The most brutal and amazing and intense and frightening and soul crushing and faith shattering motion picture footage ever devised and created and filmed in the history of movies...

I grew up hearing a lot about the war..my dad and all my uncles served in the different branches of the military during ww2 ..they were very young..still almost just kids..but they did what they had to do..i can remember late at night from my bedroom ..I could hear their conversations about the war..things they wouldn;t talk about in front of us kids until we were much older..some of it was horrifying..i had one uncle who would wake up screaming ..he had been a paratrooper dropping into Normandy and saw many of his fellow soldiers cut down by the Nazis..my father had his own experiences in north Africa and Italy..my dad was attached to an intelligence unit..chasing what wad left of the SS in north Africa and Italy..something terrible happened to my father ..he never talked about it..damned.gif

Fight against evil..?

Gee, I don't know anymore.

Seems to me your European farm boys fought their European farm boys
of very similar culture and way of life, while the Bolsheviks killed more of
their own than the enemy - their usual modus operandi.

Complete insanity.

It was never ever about "ideologies".

It was always about power and about furthering the Great Agenda.

NWO multi-purpose war on the people.
The elite's war on the slaves.
The ancient War On Love.
And it ain't over yet...

Respect, nevertheless, to all soldiers of all sides.
To be or not to be - it can't possibly get much clearer than in war.

Well okay like Hitlers massive Nazi and allied armies and Himmlers immense Gestapo and SS had special plans and maps drawn up concerning the construction of concentration camps and death camps across their possible near future occupation of the United States and their evil genocidal final solution elimination of certain multiple millions of American undesirables within and if we had sat back idle and complacently oblivious and did nothing about German and Japanese aggression back then they would have definitely and inevitably invaded and slaughtered so many of us...

That's terrible. I think everyone who participates in war or violence, either as a soldier or a victim will have permanent scars. sad2.gif

Just about every country thats ever existed upon earth has rivers of tears and oceans of blood pouring from the void of countless forgotten slaughtered human innocence but the german nazi holocaust was a unique and diabolical evil consumed with a passionate widespread display of organized concentration camps and industrialized murder factories mass producing torture and starvation and slave labor and death of an unimaginably sinister scale and malevolent ferocity and even though astoundingly around 12,000,000 russian soldiers and 18,000,000 russian civilians were annihilated during world war two just about all we ever hear and read about still are the you know whos because the squeaky wheels get oiled...

Thanks or posting JB hug.gif

My step-Dad was a dispatch rider in WWII, he never talked about it either. Shot himself in the head finally. He was a good man but sure had demons.
