... libgdx and box2d to see how box2d works and this is what i came up with:

adrenaline ball! lol.gif

it's a shitty pong clone for your android device. shouldn't need any rights.

press MENU to swap between human vs human or human vs (unbeatable diabolic) cpu. but don't swap too often or the game will crash because due to poor coding and a bad call on ApplicationAdapter's create()-method - which i did because i'm lazy - will slowly flood your ram.^^
there are many bugs which i won't address.^^

push the left or right side of the screen to move your paddle left or right. in 2 player mode another player needs to hold your device from the other side. air hockey style.
the ability to destroy your paddle is not a bug - it's a feature. coffeetime.gif

works best on aspect ratios that meet:
width = height*0.5625

download it and copy it to your device. then open the file - it should install automatically after it asks you for your permission. you'll need to allow apps from unknown sources in order to install it.

oh and check it for viruses or trojans first.^^ i don't trust those upload sites and it's impossible to upload anything but images to kritterbox. 13.gif

here is a screenshot:

did you beat the cpu? lol.gif

only way to beat it is by glitches.^^

should have called this game "glitch ball" or "fail ball" or something like that.^^

that's interesting... because it uses only 11 to 20 mb on my phone (depends on how often i hit the menu button - as i said above it leaks ram). damned.gif
maybe you should flush your ram?

what opengl version do you have? this game is written for opengl 2.0 phones. i think i could easily make it opengl 1.0. hmm.gif

edit: okay... opengl 1.0 is no longer supported by libdgx. lol.gif well, then i won't do anything.^^

It's an old HTC wildfire I rooted and did a CyanogenMod. The highest OS I can get in it is a gingerbread variant. *sigh*
Even though it has plenty of space and a 16gb micro SD, it can't get it's act together.
My flashlight app works well though. gaah.gif

something creepy just happened to me...
i was walking around in the city (actually i went to the store to buy some potato chips and wine) and an old gypsy woman approached me and told me that she sees that i'll have great success in my life and that i'm a very happy person. damned.gif
in fact all kinds of weird people approach me all the time when i walk around. damned.gif
maybe it's time to cut my hair. chuckle.gif

okay i checked out the htc wildfire. it seems to come with android 2.1.
that's kinda funny because the minimum sdk version i used is 8 (android 2.2). chuckle.gif
target os was sdk version 20 (android 4.4 [w]) which should enable my program to run on your smart watch.^^ but don't try it. i'm not sure if it works because i don't own a smart watch yet because they're too ugly. in addition i don't know how to set up a working android virtual device. 13.gif
but i tried the program on different platforms and even on an android app emulator for pc and everything worked fine.

libgdx enables me to develop for many platforms at the same time. i could easily make an ios version for iphone but i don't know how to compile this shït or if it already has been compiled like the android apk file. :/ in addition i hate apple.

okay i created a *.jar file which should run on every machine with the current java (java virtual machine). but it's kinda pointless because it doesn't really support human vs human gameplay.^^

press the END key on your keyboard to swap between the playing modes (still leaks ram btw).
press LEFT or RIGHT key or click into the window like it was an android app to move it left or right.
you could play this way with a human player as long as the human player clicks in the upper part of the window to move his paddle. hmm.gif

http://www.file-upload.net/download-9677...l.jar.html

but don't bother to download it.^^ it's full of bugs and a shitty game anyway.^^ i always hated pong... and this wasn't supposed to become pong anyway.^^ it just developed into that direction for some reason when i started to play around with libgdx.^^

edit: and please check it with an anti virus scanner after downloading it. i really don't trust those upload sites... btw am i the only one who gets some weird pop up for "olli's bums blog" (olli's ğck blog). 13.gif seriously wtf? xD

edit2: press any key but END or LEFT or RIGHT to start ball movement.^^
