i know this sounds like some sort of set phrase but i like the way you paint light and the way you paint detail. it's like i look at your painting as a whole and it looks very lively and detailed and when i focus on the details they just vanish and are no longer existent. like when you're dreaming or something and everything seems real but when you focus on something it just vanishes and you become aware of the fact that you're dreaming.

so you have some sort of dreamlike surreal art style. like fainted memories or something.^^ you should paint something surreal... salvador dali style.^^

Quote:Lake Wakatipu is an inland lake (finger lake) in the South Island of New Zealand. It is in the southwest corner of the Otago Region, near its boundary with Southland. Lake Wakatipu comes from the original Māori word Whakatipu wai-māori.[

Whakatipu, meaning 'lake' in Māori.

That looks like such a stunning and inspirational space.

I have been offline a few years, there is 100k+ posts here that I have not read.

This was really high up on the list of things I wanted to find here. Ockers paintings! :)

So nice to see that you are still painting and publishing your work here.
