The Wall Street Journal reports that Senator Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), among others, supports a national biometric I.D. card, calling it “the public’s way of contributing to solving the problem” of illegal immigration.

The Journal writes that “at least five of the eight senators writing the [immigration] bill”— Graham, Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), John McCain (R., Ariz.), Dick Durbin (D., Ill.), and Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) — “have backed biometric ID cards in the past.” What’s more, Graham, Schumer, and McCain “have said they support requiring the cards under the new law.”

The government-issued biometric cards would use fingerprints, scans of the veins on the top of a person’s hand, or other personal markers, and every American citizen would be required to produce his or her card to prove eligibility for work. The Journal writes that “privacy advocates and others” — such as those concerned with liberty — worry that such a card would eventually — and perhaps inevitably — be used to “track Americans at airports, hospitals, and through other facets of their lives.”

I made a thread the day i heard rubio, mccain among 6 others had worked out a deal on immigration. in this thread i provided proof they planned on making it so everyone needed to provide "employment verification"

so now he have further proof that this verification is going to be biometrics. this is just like in India, everyone is going to be required to give up biometrics for reasons one could only imagine. Orwell was right 1984 more like 2014...

everyone keeps saying they wont make anyone take a rfid implant but the same people never thought they would make us install smart meters and give up biometrics just to remain a citizen. problem is this has been in the works globally so if you refuse you have no where to run. what happens when we have to many homeless b/c they all refuse to give up biometrics?? this is probably when they are going to us the fema camps.

The revolution is going to be televised !

only the dead fish go with the flow

resist biometrics

live free or die

Welcome to the new frontier of no privacy and the erosion of civil liberties. This is a step toward a cashless global currency.
Incremental steps just like always.
The increments are small over a relatively long period of time, in order that no single increment of injustice is on a magnitude to set off civil unrest.
The end result will be attainable without mass warfare upon the American public. If people don't see what's happening here, maybe they deserve what they get. sad2.gif
