Over the winter, I've been one of those lucky ones,
taking a week to hide in a forest cottage every
now and then and totally forget about the outside
world. So good. :)
We are all given good advice about communicating while socializing - don't talk Politics, Sex or Religion - because it will always end badly.
I am not sure about the schizophrenic side to it, but maybe people's emotions are raw because we ultimately have no control over what our leaders end up doing and that is frustrating.
