I have watched this web cam for the past week and its there every day from 1600 to 1800 central time.....

I don't claim to know where its going or what it's going to do....but it's there, going in behind the sun now, it will come back above the sun in 20 minutes or so at the 11 o clock position...

If it's moving that fast it should be visible separate from the sun at some point, don't you think?

it's supposed to take a pic every 15 seconds, it's been stuck for a few minutes now..

below the screen you can click on last night sunset, it's pretty wild...

yes....watch for another half hour it will come back out the top at the 11 o clock position...

I think they're artifacts of the camera, not an actual object playing peekaboo behind the sun

here it comes now at the 11 o clock position on the sun...

it will be illuminated from the back of the sun for another 30 minutes or so and the it will disappear......

You know those days when it's overcast but you can see the sun through the cloud cover? If your hypothesis is right you should be able to see this thing clearly peaking out during those conditions.

You don't have to personally verify this. I have. There's nothing there.

you can only see it when the sun reflects off of it, I have watched it for a week now, it's been there every day.......
