The painting is a daunting task, we first paint the ceiling, once in one direction and then again in the other, that's after taping and cleaning prep work, then retaping for wall prep and painting. At this rate my daughter and I will finish some time next year, but it has to be done right.

I am just waiting for her to get out of bed...time.gif

I am forever painting too.. I buy the one coat paint now, saves a lot of ğkking around, all done quickly.. Skirting boards are a pain.. Three coats/four? I paint all the walls white fleece, which has some depth to it, its not just white, and has a nice neutral/greyish tone.. All the walls were eggshell before, too yellow for my liking.. Hate eggshell..

The problem was that I first bought semi-gloss, thinking it would be easy to clean, but forgot gloss shows every defect. So, that as a 2-coat job then we bought eggshell/matte and had to do another 1-coat over it, and it really looks 10x better.

These little mistakes are adding to the cost, labour and my temper.

The whitish-grey colour (white. grey and black are not really colours) is really the wall non-colour trend these days.

Frisco not fresco right?

I just read where Frisco is becoming the technological capital of the U.S. Interesting news, I thought.
