As a judge, my job is not to give a plaintiff, or a defendant what they want, it is my job to apply the law how I see fit.
I have every right to rule on the las, how I see fit, I cannot be removed from the bench because either a plaintiff, or a defendant doesn't like NY ruling.
My courtroom is not a popularity contest, nor is it a foreign policy think tank.
Animal cruelty is against the law in the united states, and in many cases, it can be a felony, with big time in prison being possible.
I am also not a rubber stamp.
And I have the right to rule in favor of a law when it is challenged.
