some points

1. immigration

2. Apathy of Citizens

3. over taxing the citizens for military spending

4. Elites amusing themselves with pleasures without regard to
administration of the Empire

add your own to the list of reason Rome Fell .

and keep in mind

The U.S.A. System is modeled on Rome's

What goes up must come down. No way around it unless you're a dead celebrity, lol.

lol.gif JFK Just passed out from too much tequila rofl.gif What a lightweight.

In all seriousness yes! The parallels are disturbing Rog', and something very good to bring up. Caesars come and go. I hope they all feel good about selling out their children for generations.
No matter how much money they made the same fate awaits us all.
I'd rather go into the unknown with a clear conscious than with bloodstained hands.

quoting Gibbons here :

" Edward Gibbon

In The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (1776–88), Edward Gibbon famously placed the blame on a loss of civic virtue among the Roman citizens. They gradually entrusted the role of defending the Empire to barbarian mercenaries who eventually turned on them. Gibbon held that Christianity contributed to this shift by making the populace less interested in the worldly here-and-now because it was willing to wait for the rewards of heaven.

"The decline of Rome was the natural and inevitable effect of immoderate greatness. Prosperity ripened the principle of decay; the causes of destruction multiplied with the extent of conquest; and as soon as time or accident had removed the artificial supports, the stupendous fabric yielded to the pressure of its own weight,"

he wrote.

"In discussing Barbarism and Christianity I have actually been discussing the Fall of Rome."

pay attention to this part ::::::;

" Gibbon held that Christianity contributed to this shift by making the populace less interested in the worldly here-and-now because it was willing to wait for the rewards of heaven. """""

The brainwash

in other words

" Don't question what we do to you ,,,, afterall ,,, you'll receive your reward in
the afterlife ,,,,

so wait until then .

The USA has been in a steady decline for some time. Wouldn't surprise me if in 20 years, if more people are leaving the USA, than arriving.

I'll make a few points

quoting Killy : " Not in global economy

China would fall apart if we didn't buy their sh!t

I see a one world .gov before anything else "

end quote

Point one

The U.S.A. is founded on a set of Ideals

such as Liberty
Justice
Freedom
Civil Rights

That is the Ideal

the Ideal , is the infrastructure of it's Civilization .

As with Rome , once the Ideal is gone , the Civilization is gone .

Rome fell , but still had a King , when the Invaders took it over and installed their own King ,

but the infrastructure
of the Roman Civilization had been in steady decline for centuries .

The Fall of the U.S. is not the fall of the money as much as it is the fall
of the Ideals that support it .

A Global one world Gov't. is still a fall .

As with Rome back 1700 years ago , The U.S. is right now spending far to much
for it's defense systems .

In Fact
The largest industry in the U.S. is Defense Spending .

I am going to open a thread soon , addressing what I found out last night
about Military Laptops and the Software these are loaded with .

if one is near your wifi signal , you will not get your Laptop to connect to your
signal .

I thought for months that I was fighting hackers , and suspected it was Military .

IT WAS !

Lost all the text to the thread ZAP GONE

I have lost tons of text due to this hack by the D.I.A. and N.S.A. snooping software .
