Voter fraud is a serious crime. She committed five counts of voter fraud. Five years sounds right for five counts.
i understand it isnt cool.. but 5 times? its like you said, amateur.. surely a slap on the wrist would have been sufficient and some community service.. she was clearly loopy.. as if 5 times made any diff.. if it was 500 then sure 5 years is looking acceptable..
I disagree totally regarding the punishment. Voting legally is a sacred trust. She wasn't the only one, and it added up to the wrong people winning.
i understand your point, i just think its a bit harsh.. 5 isn't many.. and they let her out, so someone must have seen how stupid it was.. what about the people that rigged your election with, was it florida?, when bush got in.. now that is a crime..
