They tried to install a new meter on my house.
I told them to ...Go Away.

I tried to install a House on my Being , I told me to go away .

I guess a smart meter would be good in one sense, that being, monitoring one's usage and maybe working with the electrical company to find ways to reduce usage.

Yes it has its advantages as you can monitor your water&electric use online. I wasn't asked about installing it though, we live in an apt.

When my City was installing water meters on homes, they didn't ask anyone, they forced us to get it or pay a fine. bleh.gif

From what I've read the fine on non compliance with smart electric meters in Canada was better to pay than the higher electric bills that people incurred as a result.

"not-so-smart meters" you mean. It (electricity delivery etc) is so screwed up here, I don't have the words.

I can't be around wireless routers or cell phones without getting a headache. No way they will install one on this old place, or I'll go off the grid completely.

mais a smart meter no very good at my house because no smart people live here
my husband exit insist we buy brand new smart tv and chuck out old one on street verge for poor people to take
mais maintenant now we can't use it, too complicated
before he watch tv
now smart tv watch him...sleep!!
