Unfortunately I have one too. Have solar, so bills are not high. I pay more for delivery than actual electricity. Some months I even have a small credit on my bill.

My reading about these meters is that they are not healthy to be around. One day I’ll get off the grid. Perhaps one day we’ll be forced to be off grid.

I was just reading that EMFs are present from applicances and electronics too, so going totally off the grid is akin to going back to the 1800s way of living. I also read that just substituting wireless for cable and turning everything off, and keeping your distance from these devices, can do a lot to reduce the unhealthful impact.

Yeah same here. It got real expensive all of a sudden due to them increasing delivery cost. We use about 20 euros worth of electricity per month and the rest is for bringing it to me. We have a hydro plant in the middle of this small town and it's probably some 800 meters away from our place 15.gif

We do have a cabin completely off the grid so if tshtf we know where to go.

And we can even go way more off the grid than that and survive indefinitely. Everyone should have a plan.
