Or use common sense and/or child psychology. That never happened to me because I promised my kids a treat at the END of the shopping trip, but only if they behaved. Worked every time.

If it happened to me it would be the only time it happened. 13.gif Completely unacceptable behavior. I'd walked out of there with the kid, drove it home and then go back to the store to finish shopping. 13.gif No treats for you lil' monster.

Great ad though lmao.gif

One day going shopping I saw a dad dragging his screaming kid in the store and he said "do you want me to beat your ass before we go in the store?" damned.gif As opposed to after I suppose. sad2.gif

I wonder what happened after you got them home and before you left again for the store...

I have three teenagers and not once did any of them act that way. They knew better. I never had to wear their ass out, but I did give them swats on the ass. I was consistent and firm and they knew how to behave and did.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

No, the worst times I can remember was when I was
on my jolly own with two happy, energetic kids -
taking off in 2 different directions as soon as we got
inside the friggin' mall.

chuckle.gif

I mean...fekk, what to do?

Most of those times, I just went about my business,
hoping for the best and no loud crashes from neighbouring
aisles. Somehow, I always had both of them with me back
home again, no additional expenses.

I watched a tantrum like that in the store once. Toddler was screaming being denied candy. Dad gave him a whack on the bottom, kid starts hitting and punching his Dad. A woman came up and told him to stop smacking the boy so Dad hands the screaming kicking child to the woman and walks out of the store rofl.gif

chuckle.gif I thought it was hilarious. He came back for the boy of course, but I'm sure the nosy woman learned a lesson.

My mom told me about such an event where the kid was on the floor screaming and the mom decided to do the same. I guess it shocked the hell out of the kid. lmao.gif
