What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

Well, truckers do a very effective job of snarling traffic and causing city-wide chaos. Give 'em what they want, I say.

Veterans are now joining the truckers on Oct. 13th because of the recent arrest of veterans at a peaceful protest. Shame on you Twitter.

Quote:The truckers’ protest is labeled the “Truckers Ride for the Constitution” or “Truckers to Shut Down America.” The protest has been promoted on social networks, although the Facebook page was shut down and so a new one was started. The original page had quickly garnered more than 87,000 “likes.” The new page has almost 61,000 “likes.” Twitter also decided to censor the truckers, suspending their @T2SDA account, although the hashtag #T2SDA is still being used heavily.

I wonder if Twitter will suspend this account too.

"The “Million Vet March” is also being heavily promoted on social networks; the twitter hashtag is #1MVetMarch. According to their website, “Vets, their spouses, children, friends, neighbors – everyone who thinks enough is enough!” are invited to attend."

Free speech is squelched once again by the quest for the almighty high profit dollars via ad revenues...

"In its S-1, Twitter says it's eager to partner with traditional media companies to bring more content to Twitter. Interestingly, the company says that it competes with traditional media for ad revenue as well as talent."
