Yes. Just found out. What is tells me is that

I ARE VIKING!!!

The Vikings were scared of the Finns fyi. fatman.gif

Quote:Some American Indians like some Europeans had rituals which they believed could induce rain. The Finnish people, on the other hand, were believed by others to be able to control weather. As a result, Vikings refused to take Finns on their oceangoing raids. Remnants of this superstition lasted into the twentieth century, with some ship crews being reluctant to accept Finnish sailors.

It wasn't the weather. They were afraid the Finns would drink all the mead.

That's a real possibility hmm.gif

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

I am stuck at home nursing a bout of bronchitis. Today, I am trying mullein oil to quicken healing time. I hope it works. Otherwise, I will be puttering around the house and venture into my garden later. If I feel energetic, I might make a pot of chilli.
