Didn't look too much for the couscous but did find a couple handfuls of barley, some broccoli stems and an onion, a pinch of clove spice. Smells good!

w cinnamon buns for desert.

Tonight I'm chopping up the sweet potatoes forgotten in the fridge and frying them.

Then I find this peanut sesame sauce in the fridge, a co-worker gave it to me, I dumped some of it on the sweet potatoes I cut into fries. Then stuffed into the oven.

They turned out amazing! Really tasty. That peanut sauce really did something for the sweet potatoes. I didn't bake them long enough to be crispy tho.

Hi Octo, is that a hearty soup? Tomato with a little bacon would not seem to make a meal that sticks to your ribs.

Oh it is! And who said anything about a LITTLE bacon? 13.gif

Lots of onion and garlic to start out with sauteed in oil, then smoked bacon, crushed tomatoes and chicken broth plus spices. I let it boil for an hour or so before I add milk. It's hearty for sure. beercheer.gif
