Hubby and I may rent a room with private hot tub there (Haliburton Highlands) in June. We did that last year and it was really nice. Our view includes a small lake, where hubby swears he saw a UFO hovering for quite a while. I think I burst his bubble by suggesting it may be a nighttime fishing boat with one light. Sometimes, I wonder why he stays with me when I burst his fantasies like that. lol We also went to the wolf sanctuary, where a half eaten small moose was viewable...quite shocking really.

we went to a place near Minden.

right near a place called Buttermilk Falls. you had to walk a bit up the road to see that but it was verycool..
really did look like buttermilk. waycool rapids.

i just tried to look that up. i cant find any pics of it. odd.
anyhow it was really nice there.

thanks for the memories! that is just what i remember. i thought oh wouldnt it be a blast to shoot them rapids lol..

Yes, I 'briefly' thought of tackling those rapids, then I thought back of the steep drop of the falls, and gave it up. lol Great video, by the way.

I made chilli the other day, so I think I'll use the leftovers in tacos. So, I have to make the filling and fixins.

Yes put parsley in it. It has lots of iron. yup.gif

I put loads of parsley in my Indian lentil soup today. hyper.gif
