Hell really does freeze over– at least in the middle of rural Norway it does.

Caution: there will be no avoiding the puns and Dad jokes in this article.

On average, for a third of the year, the village of Hell in Norway freezes over, reaching sub-artic temperatures as low as −25 °C (−13 °F) and making it among one of coldest places to live on Earth.

This is where my other half and I were originally going to get married....seemed like the perfect solution to the old family dynamics/feuds/I'm not going if they are going arguments, plus we could giggle and say we truly had a marriage made in Hell....the date was going to be 31st October (Halloween).
Then hubby decided he didn't want to wait any longer and we ended up getting married in the April at Barnsley registry office - which I suppose is its own kind of hell.

Happily married for over 7 years now
