The Obama administration, in a massive, new report on the dangers of climate change, warns that global warming is already harming Americans and that conditions will worsen significantly if carbon emissions aren't reduced.

The National Climate Assessment, released as part of a White House effort to rally support for its environmental agenda, attributes a spike in volatile weather patterns directly to global warming -- and says the U.S. cannot afford to look at rising temperatures as a distant problem.

“What is new over the last decade is that we know with increasing certainty that climate change is happening now,” the report says.http://washingtonexaminer.com/white-hous...le/2548100 here comes the carbon taxes 13.gif

Climate changes whether we're here or not. It's in its nature. But of course that too can be monetized. sad2.gif

Climate scientists have said the White House’s National Climate Assessment (NCA) resembles pseudoscience more than actual science.

The National Climate Data Center released its third NCA on Tuesday, which warns of an ever-worsening environment and extreme temperature rises due to man-made carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels. But it has been panned in some quarters.

“This National Assessment is much closer to pseudoscience than it is to science,” wrote scientists Patrick Michaels and Paul Knappenberger of the libertarian Cato Institute in their comments submitted to the Obama administration.

“It clearly believes that virtually everything in our society is tremendously dependent on the surface temperature, and, because of that, we are headed towards certain and inescapable destruction, unless we take its advice and decarbonize our economy, pronto,” Michaels and Knappenberger added.

Looks like Obama doesn't want to talk about Benghazi real bad.

Someone should tell Obama how hot it got when the Islamic terrorists set fire to the compound.

I've heard they were hired to by the US gov to give BO his 'embassy moment' like Reagan got after the Iranian hostage crisis. Only it went awry. Like everything else in his admin.

Nice find! I had not read that, but statistically, there has been no global warming for a number of years. Our Co2 emissions are nothing in comparison to mother natures.
This is about passing carbon taxes.

Yes, and it's also about being able to single out companies who aren't "on the team" for regulatory tyranny.
